Wildebeest surge across the Mara River, defying injury and crocodiles as part of their annual
migration from Southern to Central, Western and finally, Northern Serengeti. Nearly two
million animals moving in herds, mostly wildebeest but also zebras, gazelle and impala,
followed by their predators, comprise the annual migration.
